Let’s say that I discover beings; I free creatures trapped inside objects, as if I were a midwife. I materialize emotions: the grotesque, the picaresque, and joy, curiosity, wonder, poetry, in short, the human. There is a tender beauty in objects oxidized and distorted by time, and only that passage of time grants them serenity. The beauty of imperfection. Memory, archaeology, affections, the joy of people when they recognize an object once used by the elders, something their children have never seen. And then laughter. It is fundamental. It is resistance.
